NUTURING AND ENCOURAGING
It’s been said the willingness to learn is a choice. We’re happy to announce after intermittent forced closures over the past four months due to Covid, the Ban Kung Learning Center is back up and running! Village leaders have requested us to arrange smaller classes with more social distancing for the time being. The kids are thrilled to be reunited and eager to learn.
To all the good folks who have stood by BKLC for the past 2 1/2 years we thank you and ask for your support to continue. We are making a difference in the lives of these disadvantaged children. Thank you for giving them a hand up. Stay tuned. More to come!

A CALL TO ACTION
It was seven years ago this week a devastating earthquake struck Nepal. In a matter of a minute, homes turned into rubble. Thousands perished. Many without food, electricity, water, road connectivity, sanitation, or communication.
The good folks behind the Asha Foundation quickly initiated the GIVE ME SHELTER campaign. Our team immediately provided, food, cooking supplies, medicine and shelters for over 73 families.
There is no exercise better for the heart than lifting people in their time of need.

EVERY DAY IS A CHANCE TO LEARN

We all know education enhances the power of experience and the beauty of life. The Asha Foundation deeply appreciates those thoughtful contributors who supported the building of this beautiful bamboo structure. A world full of little learners today means a universe packed with brilliant minds tomorrow.
