ENCOURAGING, LIFTING AND STRENGTHENING EACH OTHER
All of us here at Ban Kung Learning Center are relieved to report that the recent covid situation in Ban Kung village has improved. Our deepest condolences go out to those who have lost loved ones. Four of our students who tested positive have been released from the hospital and are doing just fine. All quarantines have been lifted in our immediate area.

Today we help restock hand sanitizer, protective masks and bottled water at the Donhaisok sub district village hospital. Due to the recent spike those vital items depleted quickly. Doctor Aranya Nilthirach and her team are grateful to receive the necessary goods and distribute it among who need it most.

Thankfully it appears for now our one-month BKLC Covid Relief initiative will be completed soon. The villagers, volunteers and frontline heroes are thrilled to receive support from the Stang family, Peter and Sarah, Erin, Melissa in memory of Captain Kirk, Mike and Tan, Cristina, and the Asha Foundation For Humanity. Thank you for making a real difference in their time of need.

THE ACT OF GIVING TRANSFORMS US
Our deep appreciation goes to the Asha Foundation and the BKLC team for their tireless work in distributing much-needed food and supplies to grateful villagers quarantined in Ban Kung.

A total of 66 bags of groceries were delivered including 20 bags to village leader Mr. Surapoon and his team for further distribution. We made sure to reach all the families of our students first.

A very special shout out to Mai, Rundon, Phurachai, Baitong, Bombam, Pon, Sawat, Dara, and Woody for volunteering their time and energy to help desperate people in a time of need.

HUNGER IS SOMETHING
NO ONE SHOULD STRUGGLE WITH
Villagers offering food and material goods to Thai Buddhist monks is an essential part of their daily practice. The belief is that through the act of giving, followers of the faith receive, or make merit.

COVID-19 has affected these interactions, limiting and putting constraints on them due to so many families under quarantine in Ban Kung village.

Today, 50 bags of groceries were lovingly packaged and distributed by BKLC director Mai Wilachai and her team Woodie, Sawat, Rundon, Dawn, Baitong, Step and Atom. This compassionate effort means so much to the people during an unprecedented time of need.

Our warm appreciation goes out to the Stang family, Peter and Sarah, Erin, Mike and Tan, Cristina, and the Asha Foundation For Humanity, for their kind and thoughtful contributions.
